Very nice temperatures and very much water coming down at times as well! Sunshine as well so all in all with a gusty but sometimes strong wind, a nice day for trying out the mXr prodcution fins for the first time! 

I started of with the mXr USM (230x57) with Katana 30cm fin and then tried the UFO 30 as well.

Did a topspeed of 69.91 on this board with the UFO 30. Then after a while I wanted to give some smaller fins a go as well so changed to mXr Infinity board with UFO 26 and this is a very sweet combi! The fin is very slippery and fast and gives a lot of control. The Katana 26 is a very different character compared to the UFO. It lifts the board even more and is a bit more technical to sail, but a very good option in flat water. The UFO has a bit more surface and trims the board a bit flatter, making for a more forgiving character. in chop like wqe had plenty of today! In the end I set my fastest topspeed with the mXr Litle John 20cm (!)) speedfin. This is one of the wide base speed models. The board is 54 wide and OFO is 31cm, so this is pretty impressive I think and it wasn't even the biggest gust I hit (therefore I did not do my best 10sec run during this run of course. Fastest run on the 26 UFO. Very happy with the looks, finish and performance of these new babies! Available now.
